Fun day…

I’m having a fun day today.  Micheal stayed home from work and went to the dentist to have a tooth (molar) pulled.  I’m sure most of you ladies will agree that a sick man, or one in pain is almost like having a baby to take care of!!  You know, if men had to have every other baby, no family would have more than three kids, with the exception of multiple births.

One good thing is that I won’t have to worry about what I cook tonight.  He won’t be eating anything unless it’s soft so I can fix my fish and have a nice salad to go with it and fix him a bowl of soup.  As a matter of fact, I had a salad for lunch…mixed greens with snow peas, baby salad shrimp, fat-free croutons and fat-free dressing.  I discovered the mixed greens make a much more interesting salad than plain lettuce, which is what I’ve been using.  And I don’t think I’ll get so tired of eating these salads.

And I got some walking in today.  I had to go get meds for Micheal so I walked around the store while they were filling the scripts.  You know how long that can take!!

I like the Romane Lectuce, I like to get a head of lectuce, it is usually cheaper than the bagged stuff and just as good, all you have to do is tear it.? But the bagged is easy when you just feel like being lazy and not tearing it.

I had salad for lunch too!! Get out of my head!!!? I think that you are salking me and then writing about it on here!!!? You weirdo!!

Well I hope that made your day!

    Keep on Truckin’

I like the mixed greens and fresh baby spinach as well.? To really make it interesting, I add dried cranberries or raisins and a few shopped pecans with lite balsamic or walnut balsamic dressing, throw on a few croutons and you have a salad made for royalty!? Take care of that man and have a good nite
