Buddies, it’s been one hectic morning.  I was wating at the BMV at 8:00 this morning to get my truck tags & drivers license.  They don’t even open til 8:30 and there were already 7 people in line ahead of me!!  It took an hour for me to take the driver’s test (written only) and then get my drivers license.  Then I had to start on my truck tags, but ended up having to come home and get my payment book so they could get the address for the bank that’s holding the title.  It was 10:30 before I finally left with a temporary tag.  I have to go back in 2 weeks to get the permanent tag.  Thank goodness they gave me a temp tag cuz mine expires the end of this month!!  I still have to get the tags for Micheal’s care.  They already expired.  But it shouldn’t be as much of a hassle cuz we have the title for it and I’m not gonna get in a hurry about it anyway cuz it’s just sitting in the driveway since Micheal’s in Minneapolis.

I still have to get some agressive tires put on my truck before the weather gets really bad, but that should be pretty easy.  My landlord owns an auto shop right next door to us and he sells tires.  All I have to do is walk over there and tell him what I need.  He’ll come over and get the truck when he’s ready for it, and bring it back with the bill when he’s done.  That’s what they did when I got the oil changed.  It sure is convenient to have an auto shop right next door, and even better when it’s your landlord (I get a price break)!!!

After I got through at the BMV I went shopping at Big Lots.  I spent close to $100 there and walked around for almost an hour.  I’m gonna go do some more shopping tomorrow afternoon.  That’s supposed to be the last pretty day we have for a while.  We’re supposed to have snow this weekend so I want to go pick up a few groceries to get me through any bad weather.  Don’t want to get out in it unless I absolutely have to!!

And speaking of groceries…I’m getting myself back on track.  On the way home from Big Lots I stopped at Subway and got a turkey sub for lunch.  I still have turkey in the fridge for dinner, and I have stuff for salad, too.  I’m gonna get in as much walking as I can.  I may even go back out for a while this afternoon, since the sun’s shining and I’m already dressed.

And I’m glad BuddySlim is back up and running better.  I sure was having a hard time with BS withdrawals!!!  And I was missing my Buddies pretty bad.  You don’t really realize how much you depend on someone until they’re not there.  Yeah, some of us were using Yahoo instant messenger and e-mail, but it’s just not the same.  Although we did have fun on Yahoo the other day.  There were several of us that conferenced in on a chat and it was a blast!!   If someone had walked up to my door during that, they’d have thought I’d lost my friggin’ mind, I was laughing so hard!!   Wait, that was last week while I was still in Minneapolis!!  But it was still a lot of fun!

Like I said, I’m back on track again and plan to stay there.  I have to get this weight off, but I can’t do it without my buddies.  You guys are my strength!!  Without you I wouldn’t be able to do it.  Thank you all for being here for me.
