Drum roll, please!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well yesterday was another OP day.  Had that Subway sandwich for lunch, and for dinner I had salad with chicken.  Later I had a 100 calorie pudding cup.  Oh, and I had some Light Lays tortilla chips and some fat-free bean dip.  So I?d say I did pretty good.

Tonight is the team dinner for Micheal?s crew from work.  And it will be at TGIFriday?s.  I know they have several items I can order that would keep me completely within my range, but I?m not going to worry about that.  I?ve been under on my points every day this week so far, and now I have almost an extra day?s worth saved up, not to mention my flex points!  I know, some die-hard Weight Watcher?s followers will say you?re not supposed to save up points, and the meeting leaders would tell me not to do it, but it?s worked for me in the past, so I?m gonna keep doing what I know works for me.  And I?ll count today as my splurge day!

So yesterday, after I picked Micheal up from work, we went to Tuesday Morning and picked up a 3 piece luggage set.  Micheal decided he really liked Tuesday Morning.  I think I?ve created a monster!!  But we?re talking about a man who really likes buying things like fancy wine glasses, silver chargers for the table, and things like that.  Aren?t I sooo lucky!!!!!!!

After that we went and got groceries.  And I picked up plenty of goodies for me?100 calorie pudding cups, lettuce, low-fat dressing, dried fruit, fish and fat-free bean dip for an added treat.  So I?m set for a few days.

But the big accomplishment for yesterday was, (drum roll, please!!!) I spent a big part of the day out running around and passed up every fast food joint on the road!!  I didn?t stop at a single one of them (well unless you want to count Subway)!  I?ve stayed in all week, for the most part, because I was afraid I would screw up, but I decided yesterday that I really needed to get out.  And I did good!!!  I really have to say that I?m very proud of myself!  But I?m not gonna push my luck.  And even though I have points to spare for dinner out this evening, I?m not gonna go crazy.  Besides, there?s no way I can eat that many points worth of food at one meal!  My stomach just won?t be able to hold it.

I just looked out the window and it?s snowing like crazy, and the sun?s shining!!!!  It?s already snowed enough that the cars in the parking lot are completely coated.  It?s mostly a light powdery snow, but there are a few huge flakes mixed in with it.  I just saw one that was at least as big as a half dollar!!!

Ok, I?m gonna shut up and go read blogs.  I hope everybody has a wonderful day!!!

rn

Oh, I almost forgot?Jo, I got the January toy and took it to the fire department for Toys for Tots yesterday!

And Scott, you?ll notice I didn?t use the ?S? word a single time!! (just for you, Darlin?!!)

I am so happy for you skipping all those fast-food places!  And the foods you mentioned sound very good - great choices. I just bought the new Lorna Doone 100 cal packs and they are sooo good! Anyhow, be proud of yourself. You mentioned some jeans that are looser on you, so why not put them up somewhere where you see them and use them as an incentive to get down to the 30s?

You are doing so awesome with your choices and planning ahead to go out to eat! Passing up the fast food places and going to SubWay…….you go girl!

    Have a great day!

Good job!  It is so hard to pass up fast food when you are out running around, isn’t it?  It’s weird how that works.  I used to eat so much fast food that I got to a point where I didn’t want anything fried or on a bun anymore and actually craved salads! Crazy.

Keep up the good work and enjoy a wonderful dinner tonight!

Great job! It sounds like you did really good yesterday. And it’s good that you know what works for you. … Too many people that I know in person seem to think you have to strictly stick to whatever diet fad is going around. … Everyone is different. You just have to find what works for you and stick to it! (Which seems to be exactly what you have done)

Your doing a great job it sounds like on your points system! That’s great, I think the hardest part of being on a diet is controlling what you eat, but it sounds like you got it down pat!

You are doing great!!!  Keep up the good work!!!!  I wouldn’t have had the willpower to pass up the fast food.  We all need a day off every now and then.

I’m so proud of you.  I am proud of you for identifying your weaknessess and avoiding them, for the fact that you have stayed OP several days, for not saying the “S” word…although I am not sure what the “S” word is or why it is necessarily bad.  I am proud of you because you went out and bought the toy for Toys for Tots and delivered it!  You certainly are doing everything you set out to do this year and I want you to know how PROUD of you I am.  Don’t lose momentum my friend.  Your persevearance is not only admirable, it is inspirational!
