Men!!! Gotta love \\’em!!!!
Good morning Buddies!

I?m getting a late start this morning. I actually slept til the alarm went off at 6:30 this morning, but I was up a couple of times during the night. We didn?t go to bed til midnight and lay there talking for at least half an hour, so I didn?t get a whole lot more sleep than usual. But I?m definitely gonna take a nap afterwhile.

I?ve gotta spend time packing today. We?re planning to hit the road early tomorrow morning, although we did discuss possibly leaving this evening?that?s why a nap today is in order!!

There?s really shouldn?t be much to pack besides clothes. It?s just that when Micheal moved into this apartment (while I was still in Fort Wayne) he went shopping and bought all this extra stuff!
rn
rn
The apartment was fully furnished when he moved in, including dishes, cookware and linens. He went and bought more cookware (he didn?t like what was here), bakeware, extra sheets (he didn?t like theirs), and even gold chargers and a fancy mirrored candleholder for the table!! Oh, I almost forgot the spice rack and cooking utensils! Now all of that has to be packed. Men! They complain about all the ?unnecessary junk? we buy for our home then they go out and do the same thing!! I had made a comment about bringing a couple of things from home and he said we didn?t need to haul all that junk out here, then he went shopping and bought more junk!!! Go figure!

Well, the cookware we?ll be able to use at home. We?d been talking about getting new stuff anyway. And those gold chargers will look nice with my blue dishes. But the sheets? Our bed at home is a full size. The one here is queen size. I don?t think the sheets are gonna fit our bed. Well, we can use the flat sheet but not the fitted. Hey, that gives me an excuse to go buy a new queen size bed doesn?t it? Yeah, I think it does!

Yesterday I did pretty good?cereal for breakfast and a salad with tuna for lunch. For dinner I had a thin lean pork chop, some potatoes and green beans. I did have a couple of bites of cake, but not enough to throw me off. Tonight I won?t have to cook because Micheal is gonna clean up the leftovers and I?m gonna do salad with tuna.
rn
rn
Well, guess that?s it for this blog. I wish I had something witty and insightful to share, but my brain isn?t processing at full capacity yet this morning. I think maybe I need to go make some more coffee!!!

i agree with you. mine is the same way. not all men r like that though.
Yeah not all men are like that Mary.. I would have been completely content with what was there I’m sure.. Sounds like Michael likes things his way.. Well that is o.k.! Sorry it means extra packing for you though..
What’s up with you and me having the salad with tuna……lol….I like eating that too. Nice and healthy….plus I like the way I prepare my tuna salad……
Yes, men are very interesting creatures.
Glad you can use the new cookware though. My cookware collection is an older-than-dirt conglomeration of Target clearance specials and hand-me-downs.
Do you do anything special to your Tuna? I don’t like plain ‘ol tuna on my salads. Just lookin’ for ideas!
Keep up the good work!

My husband definitely would not go buy stuff!!!! Great job with your eating habits.. Keep up the good work!!
Yea, men gotta love’em! Mine is like that! He doesn’t complain to much any more about the all the things I buy, he can be just as bad!
You are doing great with your diet too!
Hope packing went good and you have a safe trip home!
Have a great day!
